We are pleased to add another award to our cabinet! Together with our customer, EMCOR UK, Flex Genius has won the HR Technology Award at the Personnel Today Awards 2020!
EMCOR UK is a Fortune 500® facilities management company, and use our Flex Genius employee benefits platform. Although they launched back in 2018, they felt it had stepped up during the first lockdown.

EMCOR FLEX
EMCOR launched their white-label version of our Flex Genius platform in 2018 to support their 4,400+ employees. Branded FLEX, their goal was to provide an accessible and engaging platform. In particular, they wanted to focus on promoting inclusivity and wellbeing.
Taking advantage of our responsive software, FLEX is accessible on mobile devices. And unlike many legacy platforms, employees can register with personal email addresses. Which was paramount, as many of their staff don’t have company email addresses. And clearly it’s been a success, not only winning an illustrious industry award, but boasting an 82% sign up rate!
Through FLEX, EMCOR are able to offer a broad range of benefits to their staff and families. These include dental and healthcare plans and insurance, retail and restaurant discounts. Additionally, it offers access to financial support.
Not only this, but they were also able to replace a legacy programme. Prior to launch, they had a paper-based voucher scheme that had failed to deliver engagement.
Since launching, EMCOR report that FLEX has had a huge impact on their employee wellbeing:
- Stress and mental health related absences reduced by 20.3%
- 1,312 staff have had access to financial and wellbeing support
- Employee turnover has even reduced from 23% to 13.4%!
Personnel Today is a website that supports HR professionals with accurate and trustworthy information on employment law and best practice. The annual awards have over 20 other categories. And we were up against eight others shortlisted for the HR technology award 2020.
