Avantus Employee Benefits is now Ciphr Benefits

Avantus Employee Benefits Limited, the company behind FlexGenius, has changed its name to Ciphr Benefits Limited, completing its integration into the Ciphr Group

Ciphr acquired Avantus Employee Benefits at the end of 2024. Since then, we’ve been working more and more closely with the wider Ciphr Group, sharing technology, data expertise and, in places, people. Ciphr Benefits is simply the name catching up with how the company has already been operating.

Being part of Ciphr also means more to build on. It brings greater investment in the FlexGenius platform, dedicated compliance oversight, and the backing of one of the UK's leading HR, payroll and people management software providers. For customers, that means a platform with more resource behind it, and a company with the scale and stability to keep investing in it for the long term.

“Joining the Ciphr family at the tail-end of 2024 was a watershed moment for the Avantus team. Whilst the business had always been successful, the benefits of being part of a bigger business that really understood us quickly became obvious. With renewed investment and technical resources, the business has advanced rapidly. Embracing the Ciphr name at this juncture marks the completion of a successful integration and we look forward to a very exciting future."  Phil Curtis, managing director, benefits

For FlexGenius customers, it is business as usual. The team remains the same, and your contract, pricing and any payment instructions are unaffected. Our phone number and address also stay as they are. If you have any questions, please contact your usual account manager, who will soon be in touch from their new @ciphr.com email address. Previous addresses will stay active in the meantime, so nothing breaks overnight, though it's worth adding ciphr.com to your safe senders list.
